What this is. A second Space Marine panel, transcribed from a summary of an Auspex Tactics video on the generic Space Marine datasheets in 11th edition (posted about 2 to 3 Sep 2026; date approximate, title and address not given), set beside the Tista Minis panel (22 Jul 2026). It compares two reviewers with each other, not our engine with either. File: reports/tiers/panel/2026-10-03-space-marines-auspex.json (a fitting panel, not locked).
The panel. The reviewer uses seven grades. We keep each unit's grade (1 to 7) and a letter: Tier 1 S, Tier 2 upper and lower A, Tier 3 upper and lower B, Tier 4 C, Tier 5 D. 46 units graded: 11 Tier 1, 5 Tier 2 upper, 12 Tier 2 lower, 5 Tier 3 upper, 6 Tier 3 lower, 5 Tier 4, 2 Tier 5. One name has no stub: Company Champions (our only champions are Legends or Crucible rows; it was not forced onto any of them). Unmentioned units are not graded.
Patch alignment. BSData commit in force at the start of 3 Sep: 0c02471 (2 Sep, 22:52 UTC), read from BSData's commit list because our own history only begins at 0765684 (19 Sep). No unit is dropped, but the check is half done: points did not move for any Space Marine unit from 19 to 30 Sep (patches.json), while 3 to 19 Sep is outside our history and the Space Marine catalogue did change in that window. A BSData checkout would settle it.
The ceiling. 15 units are graded by both reviewers.
| Ruler | Spearman ρ | 95% interval (bootstrap) | Ceiling √ρ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Letters (S to D on both sides) | 0.693 | 0.325 to 0.923 | 0.832 |
| Auspex's seven steps against Tista's letters | 0.695 | 0.317 to 0.916 | 0.833 |
Ties take their average rank; 2,000 resamples over units, fixed seed; no resample was degenerate. Same letter on 4 of 15 (Scout Squad, Company Heroes, Gladiator Lancer, Stormraven Gunship); within one on 14 of 15. The one wide gap: Aggressor Squad, Tier 1 here against B at Tista Minis. Auspex grades higher overall (11 of 46 in Tier 1, against Tista's 4 of 30 at S), so the letters disagree more than the order does.
Caveats. The two videos straddle a points change: BSData's "MFM SM" commit of 30 Aug, by its message the Space Marine points update, falls between 22 Jul and early September. Fifteen units make a wide interval; read the ceiling as roughly 0.8, somewhere between 0.6 and 0.95. Per the plan (section 2), about 0.83 is the most an engine can expect against either reviewer on these units; scoring higher would mean fitting one reviewer's quirks.
How it was computed. A one-off script in the session's scratchpad (not in tools/: a tier tool there would need a scoring.md line, which this card leaves alone). The numbers are stored in the panel file under ceiling.
