Our scores are one method, not the final word. For every unit we work out, per point, the damage it can expect to do to five kinds of target and the damage it can soak from five kinds of attacker, then compare it with every other unit in the game. That gives a fair snapshot of how hard a unit hits and how tough it is for what it costs, grounded in the dice.

Some things are hard to put a number on. Utility (moving, scoring, screening, buffing others) is our best estimate, and we'll keep refining it with feedback from players. Tiers also count the meta: a unit that recent winning tournament lists take often moves up, whatever its dice say (about 40% of lists makes it S tier).

So if you know a unit plays better or worse than its score, you may well be right, and we'd like to hear it.
