What it did to winning lists
Most of it landed on Chaos Space Marines (48 units), Grey Knights (26 units), Chaos Daemons (21 units).
Among lists that finished in the top quarter of their event (grimstat-corpus, CC BY 4.0), the armies it changed most went:
- Chaos Space Marines: 1 of 77 winning lists in Aug–Sep (1%), 1 of 26 since (4%).
- Grey Knights: 0 of 77 winning lists in Aug–Sep (0%), 3 of 26 since (12%).
- Chaos Daemons: 2 of 77 winning lists in Aug–Sep (3%), 0 of 26 since (0%).
Too few winning lists so far to read much into: a handful of events a month.

How do we score this?
Each is below with its points and our numbers before and after. What changed is named, never quoted: the calculator reads the datasheets live from BSData.
Every unit gets one Tier letter, S to D, ranking it within its army. One model reads three things together: how often tournament lists take the unit, how reviewers' free tier lists grade it, and the unit's rules as our dice maths sees them. It's one method, not the final word: if you know a unit plays better or worse than its letter, you may well be right, and we'd like to hear it.
